Asian-Inspired Scrapbooking Page

[pinit]

This red and black Japanese inspired scrapbooking layout template page features pretty vintage Japanese postcards. The background paper is inspired by a vintage Asian print. The rectangular bamboo frame is perfect to showcase your favorite Asian memories, with a red parasol embellishment in the corner.

The red and black chopsticks symbolize the wonderful memories of the delicious food that our beautiful babysitter from Japan used to make for us when my sisters and I were little. Her name was Nodiko, and she cared for us as though we were her own children.

Photos from your Japanese or Hawaiian vacation travels would look lovely using this scrapbooking layout, and for an extra scrapbook page, simply flip the page horizontally in your image editor.

Other creative uses for this layout include:

  • Printable recipe card for your favorite Asian recipe
  • Greeting card to print or send via email
  • Refrigerator magnet (print and use spray adhesive to attach to a magnet sheet)
  • Printable or e-invitation to a Japanese-themed party
  • Scrapbooking or photo album cover

And by the way, if you ever visit Japan Town in San Francisco, be sure to buy several sets of beautiful chopsticks. They make a wonderful conversation piece for a dinner party, and they look pretty when you use them to secure a romantic top knot in long hair.
